We sewed the shrug from an unusual, substantial, pleated lace – here, the fabric truly makes a statement.

The sleeves are wide and flare out significantly towards the bottom, and their ends feature a ruffle that moves beautifully with every motion. We finished the neckline with a ruffled stand-up collar, and added a filigree silver clasp at the front – a small detail that makes a big difference.

The ruffle has been reinforced and additionally secured with silicone tape, which helps it maintain its shape and prevents it from sagging or deforming during wear or washing. The same applies to other seams – all have been additionally reinforced.

This is an item you can simply add to what you already have. It pairs well with a simple top, dress, or basic T-shirt, but it also works just as well with a more elaborate outfit when you want to add something without covering up the rest.
